Photo captions
- Photo captions should be written in present tense when possible.
- Excluding those solely for identification purposes, captions should be written in complete sentences.

Individuals
should
be
identified
when
possible,
using
directions.
The
preferred
direction
is
from
left,
but
other
conventions
are acceptable:
third
from
right,
clockwise
from
top
left
- The identifying direction should be italicized and separated by a comma or commas.
- If a photo credit is needed, it should be added to the end of the caption in parentheses: (Photo/John Doe)
