2021
University Photographers' Association of America. University Photographer Lyndsie Schlink was recognized in two categories in the annual publications competition:
- Second place for the Parent and Family Services’
Parent and Family Guide.
- Third place for the Office of Admissions’ Viewbook publication
Pride of CASE V awards. UMC wins four golds and nine awards overall at 2021 CASE competition.

- Excellence in Design, Posters, Individual Poster, silver: Team #ISUSciTech poster, designed by Sean Thornton for the College of Applied Science and Technology’s Science and Technology Week.
- Excellence in Feature Writing, Individual, silver: “Beer Riot oral history,” written by Ryan Denham and designed by Sean Thornton for Illinois State alumni magazine.
- Online Innovation: Communications/Marketing, silver: Video Stories project, produced by Bob Tomaski, Adam Rahn, R.C. McBride, Ryan Denham, Steven Barcus, Kevin Bersett, and Kate Arthur.
