Spring 2017 (Deadline to apply is October 14)
UMC is looking for a creative storyteller to connect with Redbirds on one of our fastest-growing platforms: Snapchat. This intern will work under the guidance of UMC's social media team leader, developing and creating Snapchat Stories each week. Flexible hours.
The ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with Snapchat, as well as how brands are using the platform to connect with their constituents, plus an eye for a good story.
Spring 2017 (deadline is October 14)
Our intern works under UMC's social media team and with other campus partners to plan, develop, create, and share creative content across our flagship accounts, which engage and inform student, alumni, and community audiences. These flagship accounts include a Facebook page, Twitter feed, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, YouTube, and Flickr.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, basic digital photography skills, some professional social media experience (beyond personal use), and an ability to "think big" when it comes to creating social media content.
